Foróige: Drugs Project Worker (Cork)
Drugs Project Worker (Part Time) Mitchelstown Co. Cork


Foróige, the National Youth Development Organisation, in partnership with Mitchelstown Community Drugs Initiative invites applications for the post of Part Time Project Worker. This post is funded by the Southern Regional Drugs Task Force.

The Part Time Project Worker will be involved in work with young people using or at risk from misuse of drugs and alcohol and will liase with parents, treatment professionals and others. The post is for 18 hours per week.

The normal requirements include a third level degree and good communication skills as well as practical experience in addiction work / youth work / counselling and an understanding of youth drug / alcohol issues will be necessary for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will receive an attractive remuneration package in line with appropriate professional scales.

Entry level in accordance with qualifications and experience.

Car and full driving licence essential.
